Car-girl pizza
Even though she has her license, Vickie & Karen don't want the mighty Insect Slayer (whose current incarnation is Bumblebee Girl) driving on the ice/snow, at least not until she's had some more lessons from Trisha. Thus it is that Car-girl had to give Trish a ride home from McPizza yesterday, though I had to call her & remind her: side-effects.
Mostly I wrote a letter to Hope, then ate at El Taco Loco. I came home & made it thru 1/2 of Ch.18 of Mindstorm, but then came to a spot where I'd experimented with turning some bad old material into an actual comic book script; fear & loathing in the rollicking Rootboy. Once I'm done, this stuff goes to an agent.
I'm also concerned with licensing the Slime-thing character to the cosmicomics, which in spite of Martyr Press saying it has "extreme commercial potential, in comic book form," Dave & Karen both turned their noses in the air at it; no, the skinny dog's going to make a comic about the dead dumb fat dog. I think the real reason she turned us down is that she's only an amateur artist, with no hope of ever becoming professional. I wish those 2 had never met.
